🍎 Lansweeper | macOS — Force LsAgent Sync & Reload Config
sudo launchctl stop com.lansweeper.LsAgent && sudo cp /Library/Application\ Support/Lansweeper/LsAgent/lsagent.ini /Library/Application\ Support/Lansweeper/LsAgent/lsagent.ini.bak && sudo launchctl start com.lansweeper.LsAgent
macOS — Stops LsAgent, backs up lsagent.ini, then restarts the agent to force a fresh sync. Run in Terminal with admin rights. Check /var/log/lansweeper/ or Console.app for agent activity after restart.
🍎 Lansweeper | macOS — Restart LsAgent Only
sudo launchctl stop com.lansweeper.LsAgent && sudo launchctl start com.lansweeper.LsAgent
Quick restart of the Lansweeper agent service on macOS without touching config. Use this to force a re-sync when the agent is stuck or hasn't reported in.
🍎 Lansweeper | macOS — Check LsAgent Service Status
sudo launchctl list | grep lansweeper
Confirms whether the Lansweeper agent is loaded and running on macOS. A PID in the first column means it's active. If empty, the agent is not running — use the restart command above.
🍎 Lansweeper | macOS — Force Scan & Verify Agent Reported
sudo launchctl stop com.lansweeper.LsAgent && sudo launchctl start com.lansweeper.LsAgent && sleep 30 && sudo log show --predicate 'subsystem == "com.lansweeper"' --last 2m 2>/dev/null || sudo grep -i "scan\|upload\|connect" /var/log/lansweeper/lsagent.log 2>/dev/null | tail -20
macOS — Restarts LsAgent to force an immediate scan, waits 30 seconds, then checks logs to verify the agent connected and reported to Lansweeper. Run in Terminal with admin rights. Look for "scan complete" or "upload" entries confirming data was sent.
